Following the release of his latest album ‘Wild Horses in The End Of The World’, we caught up with Folk-Rock artist Itamar Fainer to find out what influenced his genre-blending album. For fans of folk-rock, country and Americana, be sure to check out ‘Wild Horses in The End Of The World’ at the bottom of the article.
1. Wildflowers - Tom Petty
Nothing like Tom. So simple, gentle and beautiful. Wood!
2. Mountains Of My Mind - Chris Stapleton
Chris is an inspiration for me on how to fill a stadium with an acoustic guitar and your voice. He’s writing and performing are something else.
3. Hard Sun - Sun House
Always need an unknown melancholic and a bit psychedelic song on my mood board. Gives depth and a splash of color on the canvas.
4. Sidi Hack - More Of Your Man
One of my best friends and he’s an inspiration for me and my music. Also wanted to put one song of an artist called Amit Nygate but he has nothing on Youtube.
5. Eartheater - Below The Clavicle
So special and an example of an amazing amazing taste. She always a reference point for me on being super fresh but with deep down roots in the ground.
