Norwegian artist Tuvaband has recently unveiled her stunning new track 'Rejuvenate'. The haunting and ethereal single is a shimmering blend of alt-pop and indie rock and flaunts Tuvaband's signature sound.
We caught up with Tuvaband to find out more about the music that inspires her and why - check out her hand-picked tracks below and the lyric video for 'Rejuvenate'!
1. Saya Gray - Zucchini Dreams
This song is definitely the song I’ve been listening to the most the last months. Until it got removed from Spotify. I think it’s really special, and something I haven’t heard before. The song has made me feel really good; I feel a lot when I hear it. I realized today that she released yet another song now, which also sounded great.
2. Yves Tumor - Gospel For A New Century
I think it’s a long time ago I started listening to this song. And I’ve had a break from it. But these weeks I’m listening to parts of it almost every day, because I use it as a reference track when I’m mixing; both as a reference that whether I've gone too heavy with the bass and kick drum. But also as in «hmm, maybe I should have more» if it’s nothing close to it.
3. Anika - Wait For Something
This was one of my feel-good-songs in 2021. So I thought it should be part of this list, in case somebody else needs a feel-good-song in 2022. I feel very hopeful when I hear it. And I really like Anika’s music in general.
4. The Modern Lovers - Hospital
This was one of the songs I listened to the most in 2021, and I still like it a lot. The whole album is great. I didn’t hear about The Modern Lovers before last year, even though they’re an old band.
5. Poison Anna - Submission
This was the song I listened to the most last autumn. I love the production and the song writing. I found her because she also collaborated with one of my favourite artists; Dean Blunt.
