5 Songs I Love w/ Zack Sympson

New Zealand singer-songwriter Zack Sympson has recently unveiled his powerful new single 'It's Not The End'. Following the release we caught up with the artist to find out more about some of his favourite songs and why he loves them so much! If you're a fan of any of the tracks below, be sure to check out 'It's Not The End'!

1. James Arthur - 'Train Wreck'

This song cuts deep. It's so real and authentic. I love music that has its own sound and I feel this song is that type of sound. The lyrics really hit you and they are accompanied by really powerful and emotional driven vocals.

2. NF - 'How Could You Leave Us'

It's another emotional one but again, it is so unique and real. You can hear the emotion in his voice. I love it when artists sing from the bottom of their hearts. This literally poetry at its best.

3. Dappy - 'Beautiful Me'

This song is really well recorded and the instruments are really well played. I feel the song has been written really well and it has been written from the heart.

4. Johnny Cash - 'Hurt'

Who doesn't love a bit of Johnny Cash ? What I love is that Cash was very open about his addictions and struggles in life and this song was a very strong message before he died. It reminds me that everyone struggles, rich or poor, famous or forgotten. We are all human and when a song reminds us of that, it's always a keeper for me.

5. Elvis Presley - 'If I Can Dream'

Another classic.. A song like this is really needed in today's world. Just take a minute to soak up the lyrics and the message of the song. It really speaks to me!
