The latest from London songwriter Alto Key is his sentimental new track, 'take what i can get'. With thematic tones of self-image, the music is a sensitive rendition of how sometimes conforming to the pressures you set on yourself does more harm than good. These musings are delivered through deeply affecting musical arrangements, the artist choosing to outline the first moments with a simple repeating piano and soft, simple chords.

The piano element stays dominant as the music expands from top to bottom, with bass lines and string arrangements a roaring mountain rising from the valley. As we reach the track's climax, the scale of the pain becomes evident, a heartfelt outpour clattering at the feet of a listener, calling out for a helping hand, truly tugging on your heartstrings by the final chord.
Alto Key explains, "'take what i can get' is probably my most raw song yet because it's just me honestly spilling my feelings out in the song lyrics: I talk about how I look. How I've felt pressure to not pursue my ambitions. Everything I've done to change myself to try be more successful. Whilst it was painful to write, it's been very empowering for me getting it all out and I think its rawness will really resonate with people."
Highlighted by top-end publications and BBC Music Introducing Alto Key’s main fanbase has been built through a vibrant social media presence, built around his music and personal life. A social media presence is nothing without talent, however, and Alto Key has shown himself to have it in spades, building a reputation for raw songwriting and glittery indie-pop.
