Barbara Falzoni's debut EP 'RAW', is a journey of self-understanding, empathy and melancholy. The opening track 'Fighting Shadows' sees Barbara emerge from the darkness, her vocals powerfully delivering pained melodies, her obsessive personality causing a romantic decline. 'Dust 'N' Bones' is up next, seeing Barbara reignite the life slipping through her fingers, the vocals crying out, but supported by harmonies of optimism. The instrumentation rises from the ashes carrying her into the sun.
In 'Free Falling' the brightness is clouded over again, finding herself not entirely recovered and turning back to her past with sorrow. 'Hundred Years' continues the bounce back and forth with a thank you to both herself and those around her for forgiveness. 'Smoking Words' wraps up the colossal movement of emotions with a final call out, the melodies layered with broad intentions, the piano cutting beneath and the strings falling around her.
The artist adds, ”I wrote this EP about my own life experiences.”
From her Switzerland and Spain-based youth, Barbara’s early years emerged with a love for the arts, finding a passion for writing and poetry before going on to study music, triggering a shift in her creativity that leads us to now. After years of training, Barbara brings an exciting team to Miami for her latest project, influenced by multi-grammy-award-winning producers. Barbara is ready to take on the world.
