Besso returns with highly strung progressive house single 'Won't Fade'

Nico Besso, the Paris-born, Southern California-raised rising artist, producer, vocalist, and DJ, unveils his latest single, "Won't Fade," showcasing his ability to blend introspective themes with dance floor-ready grooves. At just 23 years old, Besso has already established a unique niche in the music world, drawing inspiration from a childhood steeped in diverse musical influences and a passion for storytelling through comic books and short stories.

Following the success of his previous release, "Space 2 Breathe," which garnered support from Spotify's editorial playlists like “Fresh Finds Dance” and “Feel Good,” Besso returns with "Won't Fade." This new single introduces a progressive dance house vibe, opening with an epic intro that builds into a groovy tech house rhythm. Besso describes it as “if Rüfüs Du Sol had a fast house baby,” featuring pulsating synths and beats that captivate the listener from start to finish.

"Won't Fade" showcases Besso's captivating vocals and knack for weaving melodic intricacies throughout the song. His vocal delivery effortlessly navigates the shifting textures of the track, complementing its genre-blending backdrop that seamlessly merges elements of house, techno, and UKG.

“Won’t Fade” delves into the poignant struggle of trying to salvage a fading relationship. The lyrics vividly portray emotional turmoil and the realization of inevitable loss, enhanced by chaotic and airy synthesiser arpeggios that evoke a sense of being lost in an unfamiliar landscape. The track beautifully captures the complexities of love, where nostalgia clashes with the reality of change.

Nico Besso’s "Won't Fade" is a testament to his evolving artistry and his ability to connect deeply with his audience. As he continues to push creative boundaries and explore new sonic territories, Besso remains an artist to watch, poised to make significant strides in the realm of electronic music.
