When London's Blitz Playground first broke through with their stellar debut single 'Under The Sun' in 2021, they were greeted as one of the more dynamic names on the rise that year. And with the pair spending much of the time since crafting their next move, they now return with their euphoric new delight 'Favourite Ghost'.
Set to feature on their eagerly-awaited debut EP 'Behind The Veil', their newest endeavour stands as a beautifully rich and refined return for them. Moving with this subtle elegance that borrows from both dream-pop and psych-rock aesthetics as it plays, 'Favourite Ghost' sees them end their three-year absence with a truly magnificent offering here.
Although plenty has happened since they first emerged onto the scene, 'Favourite Ghost' already feels like the beginning of something new for the pair. Creating these brilliantly alluring tones and textures throughout, Blitz Playhouse are certainly a name we need to keep a close eye on for the future as well.
