Coming off a strong resurgence in 2024 with previous releases like "Younger Heart" and "Falling", Dundee’s Copper Lungs are establishing themselves as one of the most exciting rising acts in the scene with the release of their new single, “Life Your Way”. It came out on

the 30th of August, along with a music video.

Funnily enough, the song started as a joke when the songwriter's girlfriend challenged him to write a song about their dog. It quickly became a track that inspires us to live life to the fullest, influenced by the modern sound of Biffy Clyro and The 1975.

From the very first notes, "Life Your Way" grips listeners with its infectious energy, effortlessly blending the band's signature catchy pop melodies with a deeper, more introspective rock sound. Though the track explores themes of connection, loss, and living in the moment, Copper Lungs balances weighty themes with an uplifting spirit, making “Life Your Way” more than just another song about grief or resilience.

Songwriter Darren’s reflection on the bonds we hold dear gives the song its emotional depth, turning what started as a playful concept into a powerful tribute to the memories that linger long after loved ones are gone. It’s about celebrating every moment, reminding us that life’s beauty comes from its fleeting nature. The chorus, driven by rousing guitars and an anthemic

melody, becomes a plea for embracing life fully: its highs, lows, and everything in between.

Over the years, Copper Lungs has mastered the art of making deeply relatable music while still delivering high-energy pop-rock anthems that resonate across genres. This new track perfectly showcases the band’s evolution into a more authentic and mature sound. As they continue to grow, their ability to craft songs that touch on universal experiences will surely

make them stand out in the music scene.
