Ebony Buckle Releases Powerful New Single ‘I Think I Just Saved My Own Life’

Returning with the third single to be taken from her forthcoming album Hearts Get Started, ‘I Think I Just Saved My Own Life’ offers Buckle’s authentic approach to alt-rock music with a fresh new approach. Following the release of ‘Golden Sand’ earlier in the summer, the single sees Ebony show a different side to her artistry, complete with pounding rhythms and emphatic melodies.

The single starts with a griping vocal hook as the haunting lead piano builds to an emphatic climax. The pummeling percussion introduces a fresh pop sentiment to the airwaves which builds upon Ebony’s multi-faceted approach to music making. Blending together rock and park with a healthy sense of alternative songwriting, ‘I Think I Just Saved My Own Life’ is an emphatic force of nature as it presides across the soundwaves.

Speaking about the heartfelt nature of the release, Ebony shares, “I used to drink a lot and I think it was a way to quiet the critical voices in my brain. When I stopped 5 years ago, I felt so much relief that I was free of this thing that had been in the way of everything I wanted to do with my life. I felt like I had saved myself from a very different future.”
