Hailing from Brazil, multi-talentened artist WUNDER BETA releases her first single “Waiting Here”. WUNDER BETA, now based in London, co-founded a BAFTA award-winning video games studio, launched a wearable art brand, and started a podcast. After a string of successes in her other business ventures she now aims to conquer the world of music, and is set to release her debut EP, “Love You To Beats” later this year. Featured single, "Waiting Here” sets the tone for listeners, familiarising them with WUNDER BETA’s unique blend of Brazilian backbeats and electronica.
“Waiting Here” opens with a gradually intensifying synthesized atmosphere, slowly amplifying energy, and introducing an irresistible dance beat at the chorus. The track showcases the rawness of human nature, and illustrates WUNDER BETA’s longing for a genuine connection.
Speaking about her forthcoming EP, she shares “My lyrics were inspired by our longing to be loved, often feeling lost and lonely, and then finding purpose in the present moment. Unearthing answers on our deepest emotions, on the beat of our hearts, and the warm feeling of the sunset. I wanted to tell people about the magic of living in the now, loving to the fullest, and expanding our souls beyond the skies. Sonically, I created a kaleidoscope of electronic sounds woven into my ethereal-dreamy vocals, with nods to my Brazilian Bossa Nova influences.”
