MUVI has unveiled his brand-new single, “Grace Cale”. “Grace Cale” is a sad-pop anthem that shows another more intimate side of the Italian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. The stunning track arrives alongside visuals directed by Jari Brontesi and is the second single taken from MUVI’s upcoming debut EP, LINE-A.
The rising musician from Milan only made his official music debut last year, but it’s been an impressive run so far with three well-received singles, and he looks set to continue his momentum in 2022 with “Grace Cale”. The track follows previous single “Baby”, which was released earlier this year.
Playing the guitar since the age of six, MUVI has been musical almost his entire life, and it shows on “Grace Cale” where his talent is on full display. The track stands out immediately with MUVI’s smoky vocals piercing through a captivating guitar-led instrumental, which was self-produced. The track is elevated further by its impressive songwriting and a strong melodic presence that resonates throughout the song.
Speaking more on the lyrics and concept behind the track, MUVI says, “Grace Cale is a woman, precisely it is the allegory of depression. She lives a grayscale life. She lives moments where everything is white and moments when everything is black, but what haunts her is the awareness that black will never leave her life.”
“Grace Cale” is available to buy/stream now on all platforms.
