Following on from a busy 2024 with a string of releases earlier in the summer, Erin Bloomer returns with her answer to brat summer - the floor-filling new effort ‘Coco Rouge’. Amassing over 90 million streams across her discography, the new single aims to further cement Bloomer as one of the most exciting young talents on the scene.
Peering across the airwaves with a gripping synth line and heart-beating percussion, the single sports a fierce backbone alongside an unapologetic vocal line to give the record its unique swagger. There is an innate sense of cool embedded into the single, extrapolating the hedonistic intensity of club nights into a fearless extension of theatre. ‘Coco Rouge’ holds a mesmerizing attitude-heavy sentiment, brimming with sticky melodies and emphatic grooves.
Speaking about the single, Erin Bloomer explains, “Coco Rouge is all about tapping into your most confident, powerful self on a night out. It's that feeling of pure empowerment - luxury, fun and freedom all rolled into one and it’s an anthem for anyone who wants to embrace the moment and have a great time. I wrote it with Poppy Baskcomb and Lauren Faith who brought a lot of positive energy and it was fun in the studio with an all-female team.”
