Opening with an ethereal guitar and sleek bass groove, the airy indie-pop vibrance of Evan Isaac’s new single ‘Watch It In The Wind’ quickly takes hold for a loving and otherworldly feeling. The constant layers of twinkling melodies blur the lines between guitars and synths, each soaring addition shimmering above the constant movement in the drums, powering away with the fairy's fragility that surrounds the track. Evan’s vocals walk the line between crafting an infectious pop anthem and leaning into the spacey feeling of the instrumentation, able to draw the audience into the glimmering world he creates.
Evan shares, “There was a certain sense of longing that I had felt for many years. Once it dissipated I felt that I wanted to capture it in a song because there was something very beautiful about it.”
Raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Evan Isaac’s passion for music developed early on in life, writing songs and performing them as an outlet for his self-expression. As the lead songwriter for Crossing Boundaries, Evan supported acts like Clarks, Rusted Root, and Mac Miller, and won the Tri-C High School Rock Off in Cleveland.
Then, during his time at USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, he formed the band GoodKids, collaborating with Grammy-winning producer J.J. Blair. Now back to a solo journey, and based in New York City, Evan continues to build and innovate on his influences, quietly inspiring his peers.
