Suffolk 5 piece FLEAS have unleashed their electrifying new single, 'BLEED', offering a powerful preview of their upcoming debut album, Imagine If There Was More.
Known for their intense fusion of punk, rock, and metal, FLEAS continue to push boundaries with their latest release, solidifying their status as one of the most exciting new hardcore acts to watch. BLEED showcases the band’s raw, visceral sound. The track begins with a filtered, boxy riff that builds tension before erupting into pounding drums and overdriven guitars. Produced by Suffolk’s Alec Jarman, the song delivers tightly locked rhythms and metal-inspired riffs that drive the energy forward. Vocally, the band moves between barked intensity, spoken word, and screamo, culminating in an anthemic and memorable chorus.
The band explains the significance of the track:
“BLEED was actually the first track that we wrote for the album. Pedro and Jason wrote it in Pedro’s bedroom in the summer of 2023. The song was such a departure from our previous sound that it basically inspired the rest of the album. BLEED is definitely one of our favourites.”
The upcoming album, Imagine If There Was More, explores themes such as mental health, the current social climate, love, and protecting loved ones. Recorded in a DIY setting across bedrooms and rehearsal spaces, the album captures the band’s authentic energy, with Alec Jarman playing a key role in shaping its sound.
