Returning to the limelight, Good Time Locomotive looks set to make waves as they unleash their debut EP. Since their formation in 2020, the group have been on a mission to bring their feel-good energies to listeners across the globe whilst diversifying their sound with an intrinsic, pop-fuelled stamp.
Sporting six tracks, including the group's most recent single, ‘Stay Close’, GTL’s debut EP is just as exciting as the releases that came before it. The EP proves the band can do it all, from elevating bass-grooves to emotionally intense, introspective ballads, the project holds its ground as an exciting slice of contemporary pop-rock music.
The band's drummer and co-songwriter, James, jumps in to share his thoughts on the single, “This self-titled EP, like the name of the band, really sums up why we started this project. Music is one of the most powerful emotional experiences a human being can have, so for us we have always strived to write songs that make you feel that emotion in the most visceral way possible! The songs on this EP cover everything from the love of the party to overcoming grief, regret, lost love, to the need for human unity. So we cover most bases I think!”
