Honeybadger deliver their anthemic new single 'Gone Cold'

Ever since they first emerged, Brighton’s Honeybadger have always looked to a more grizzled edge to the ferocious garage-punk scene of the last few years. Blending frenzied guitar hooks and blistering pace to everything they do has already earned them wild praise from the likes of BBC 6Music and Clash Magazine. And with the buzz surrounding them continuing to build, they continue their vibrant ascent with the explosive new single ‘Gone Cold’, an offering that builds upon their tenacious foundations of late.

Reminiscent of 90s alt-rock with vocal stylings of Daniel Johns of Silverchair, and influenced by more contemporary outfits like Them Crooked Vultures and Drenge, ‘Gone Cold’ is one of their more accessible and radio-friendly singles to date, with higher production value and a punchier sound all round. With guitar hooks that flow more with an Australian psych-rock vibe, this new outing offers a fresh and distinctive take on their more rustic garage-punk direction, as they seek to develop their already immersive aesthetic.

Given the widespread popularity of Honeybadger over these last few years, ‘Gone Cold’ makes for a stellar addition to their ever-evolving catalogue so far. Their ambitious pursuit of reinvention and innovation leaves them as one of the more exciting bands rising across the UK today, and sets them up for even more acclaim for the months ahead.
