Hey Archived, welcome to FLEX! How are you doing?
Blessings Flex, I'm beyond blessed! I hope everyone at Flex is striving for more as always, I look forward to the interview :)

Sum up your new single 'Bae I'm Back' in three words!
Luxury, Vibes, Manifestations.
What is this track about?
Essentially the song is about returning to your loved one after being apart. As part of the younger generation, or 'Gen-Z' as some call it, relationships often play out online and through text. So, I wanted to create a vibey track with a catchy melody that anyone in a relationship can relate to, no matter how they connect with their partner.
Â
Who are your biggest influences?
It's funny because my biggest influences don't actually reflect my musical sound. I just know what I'm good at. For example, I listen to a lot Old Jazz, Arabic soul, and R&B. But when it comes to who inspires the sound that I've cultivated, I'd probably say Drake has had the biggest impact. I think he's a genius when it comes to melodies and it's part of the reason why I think my music can stick in your heads so easily.
Â
What was the recording and writing process like?
I always start by figuring out the lead melody first, then I add sub-melodies to layer into the verses. But once I’ve got those laid down, the rest of the process feels so natural that it’s almost hard to explain. I think it’s because my music is so closely tied to my goals and my actual life—it rarely feels like a task to put it into a song or words. When I make music, I don’t think—I just feel. I know that might sound bold coming from a trap-wave artist, but it’s the truth.
Â
'Bae I'm Back' blends so many genres. Is this always the sound that you've been striving for?
I think so. Trap-wave music has such a broad range, from Trap Rap to R&B, and that’s what I love about it - it allows for so much versatility. But for me, the biggest focus is my voice. I’ve released around 10+ records so far, and even though the production styles vary, I’d like to think I always sound like myself. Drake is a great example of this. Whether he’s doing R&B, Drill, or Afro-beats, he still sounds like Drake. That’s the beauty of it - when your fans connect with you, they’ll love every side of your artistry because it always feels authentic (as long as it sounds good, lol).
Â
And lastly, what are your plans for 2025?
To put it simply, I want to give back to the fans this year after such a triumphant least year. My goals include doing my first headline show, dropping monthly releases, collaborating more, and maybe even putting out a project in the second half of the year. But if I had to sum it all up in one word, it’s consistency—being consistent with the quality of my music, my release schedule, and my growth as an artist. And hey, a few more hits definitely wouldn’t hurt - we’ll make sure to check that off the list too ;)
