Kai Bosch unleashes his most vibrant chapter yet with new EP 'Popstar of Your Dreams'

After turning heads with breakout singles like 'Angel' and 'Rodeo Romeo', and earning support from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and a Glastonbury Emerging Talent longlist spot, fast-rising UK artist Kai Bosch is stepping into his spotlight with the release of his boldest project yet. His new EP 'Popstar of Your Dreams' is out now, headlined by its glitter-drenched title track — a euphoric, self-aware anthem that signals a transformative era for the alt-pop provocateur.

Written in collaboration with producer Duncan Mills over a whirlwind summer, the record sees Kai reclaim his joy and creativity after a period of burnout and self-doubt. Embracing flamboyance and escapism, the project leans into maximalist pop influences like Gwen Stefani, Charli XCX, Marina and the Diamonds, and Girls Aloud, without losing the emotional depth that defines his songwriting.

“Popstar Of Your Dreams EP was all about taking myself less seriously and getting back to making music for my own enjoyment,” Kai explains. “I wrote it when I was feeling really low about my artist project… Ironically, the way back was creating an alter ego—Kai Bosch, Popstar of Your Dreams. I stopped overthinking everything. If it felt good, that was enough.”
