kleio release thrilling new single 'yoko'

Four-piece indie rock band kleio have released their highly anticipated new single ‘yoko’. Based in Waterford, Ireland, kleio’s ‘yoko’ follows the band’s success with three sold-out shows in Waterford, Dublin, and Cork at the beginning of this year.

Likened to artists such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms, and Inhaler, the track ‘yoko’ features high-octane energy from the first moments, with rocketing riffs and driven drum rhythms bursting into life around a steady and enticing lead vocal. Continuing to decorate the atmosphere with a rising and vibrant power in the performance, the track explodes into an electrifying guitar solo before the thrilling final chorus.

Kleio’s Luke Kelly explains, "This is a song we wrote with a live audience in mind, we had just started gigging again and thought our audience deserved a real anthem. We love the early 2000's anthemic indie sound because it's what we grew up on so this song is meant to be a love-letter of sorts to that”.

Debuting in 2023 with the single 'lowlights and batteries,' kleio is quickly showing great promise with its distinctive sound and sold-out shows. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the band kleio.
