Bedroom popstar Leah Clark delivers yet another offering of her mystical, moody sound in the form of ‘Not Like Them’.
Her words swirl around smoky synths and hazy bass, with the rumbling reverb adding a touch of depth to the atmosphere. As shimmering piano keys cut through the ambience, Leah’s striking vocals capture attention with ease, and exhibit her breathtaking artistry. “I wrote Not Like Them at a time in my life when I was struggling mentally” Leah explains, “I felt like everything was out of my control. I felt powerless and fearful of the world but more so, the people that were in it. My emotions are raw in this song, Not Like Them is my think piece.”
Born in New Jersey and raised in Connecticut, Leah discovered her passion for music from a young age. On the brink of releasing her debut EP, she has already begun to raise intrigue within the industry, and looks set to have a bright future ahead of her.
