Lowly Light releases groovy single ‘Cosmic Hearts’

Lowly Light is a project from award-winning songwriter and producer Matt Gorny, who transitioned from and indie-rock background to become to high energy dance producer we know today. His love of house and disco is combined with his experience of indie-rock sensibilities to create exciting new flavours that audiences can’t help but enjoy. His track, ‘Do You Feel Me’ garnered over 100k streams on Spotify and ‘Lose You (John "J-C" Carr & Bill Coleman 808 Beach Remix)’ was lauded by publications and garnered radio play.

The latest offering from Lowly Light is ‘Cosmic Hearts’ a high energy, danceable, groovy anthem that’s set for your disco playlist whilst keeping up the modern sensibilities of EDM. The bass-line is effortlessly funky, hitting heavy and getting you moving. Added on to this are glittery synths and punchy drums that set the backdrop for the space-aged vocal performance that shines on top of all else. The energy is not lost throughout, keeping you on the dance floor from start to finish, lacing your ears in a glamorous soundscape. It even includes a exciting guitar solo that works really well to break up the track.

Matt shares, “Cosmic Hearts is about longing for someone's awareness and love. Visualizing oneself as a singular object in space, pulling in the attention of another in your direction. Imagining the desired future situation.

I was inspired by the visual idea that I had of pulsating hearts moving through space, like dual comets orbiting each other as they fly through space.”
