Lunar June drops nostalgic indie-electro single 'are we really over?'

London-based electro-indie/pop artist Lunar June returns with her latest single 'are we really over?'. The project of singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist Olivia Judd, the track follows her indie-pop summer hit 'supplements' and the critically acclaimed EP 'an ode to the girl i once was', released earlier this year.

Earning praise from outlets such as Wonderland, Kaltblut Magazine, The F Word, and Ministry of Sound, Lunar June delivers another nostalgia-tinged, angsty anthem. 'are we really over?' captures the raw emotions of being in relationship limbo — a bittersweet exploration of love, heartbreak, and unanswered questions.

“You’re broken up but the ends are very loose; you both still love each other and the door is still very much open,” Olivia explains. “But being in limbo leaves you with many unanswered questions, and this is what this song is really about. No closure and wanting answers. It’s an angsty indie track about heartache, and I feel a lot of people can relate to that feeling of having to create your own closure.”
