Mae Powell’s ethereal yet grounded sound blends stunning vocals with rich, immersive instrumentation. Produced by David Parry (Alice Phoebe Lou), 'Rope You In' introduces a lush soundscape filled with warmth and depth. An electric 12-string solo, played by Garrett Barley through a Leslie speaker, adds an enchanting and mysterious element to the track, elevating Mae’s already introspective and evocative songwriting.
“Writing this track was the beginning of a long emotional journey that inevitably resulted in an entire LP,” Mae shares. “I feel grateful for the way writing songs helps me make sense of and process emotions while I’m in the thick of them.”
