‘unresolved’ is elegant in its vulnerability, masterfully building an idyllic soundscape around Manpreet’s delicate lead vocals. Soft acoustic arpeggios are paired with gentle drums, intertwining twinkling synth hums and glowing string arrangements as they push forward a heartbreaking reflection of love slipping away. In Manpreet Kundi’s own words, “unresolved’ is a guitar lullaby I wrote telling a tale of innocent, undefined love; like watching sunrises in cars parked on streets, and feeling a way you never have before in your life. With sweet hopefulness, doubt creeps in as silence follows a moment you thought was significant. This is the fourth single from a concept EP close to my heart; with each song embodying a significant part of the story surrounding the EP. This body of work has been developed in a home studio, and co-produced entirely with my boyfriend.”
