Hailing from Latvia, MARTA is an artist with an irresistible knack for pop music. Since starting her songwriting journey in 2015, her music-making has taken her halfway across the globe, now residing in London. Returning with her Eurovision-shortlisted pop anthem, she looks set to take 2025 by the horns with her latest single ‘Lovable’.
As a teething arpeggio surface, a soft, gentle vocal instantly captures the centre point of the track. Teasing sticky melodies inside an excitable creative tension, ‘Lovable’ quickly shapes itself as an illustrious pop anthem, unfolding silky harmonies and synths alike as it shows its true colourful nature. Arriving at the chorus, Martha truly begins to shine with its distinctive, rapturous energies. Building irresistible refrains, ‘Loveable’s deeply romantic sentiments become all the more apparent, cementing the track as an exciting sign of things to come.
Diving into the release's creative process, Marta unveils, “‘Lovable’ was written across Stockholm and Riga with some incredible, like-minded musicians. It’s a falling-in-love anthem—about that magnetic, irresistible pull towards someone you just can’t get out of your head. We wanted the song to feel dreamy and vibrant, with an energy that captures the excitement and vulnerability of those moments. It’s a piece of my heart wrapped up in a pop track, and I’m beyond thrilled that it’s been shortlisted to potentially represent Latvia in Eurovision 2025. Being discovered by so many ESC fans has been an incredible and humbling experience—it’s amazing to see the song resonate with so many people!”
