It looks like Martin Aelred Colgan got us covered for every period of the year. We introduced his last song 'Tam O Shanter' a few months ago that had a video with the perfect Halloween vibes of the time and now 'Auld Lang Syne' right after Christmas.
After 'Tam O Shanter', a rock anthem based on Robert Burns's poetry and a tribute to the late Billy Mackenzie of The Associates, Martin offers us a classic arrangement of 'Auld Lang Syne'. The singer never ceases to amaze us and reinvents himself through music. This new song is a wink to his Scottish roots and once again based on Robert Burns's poetry taken from the album Red Red Rose - the soundtrack for a TV series about the life of Robert Burns.
