Since debuting in 2021, MAYFLOW have been one of the most exciting bands to hit it off on the underground scene. Illusively hitting the soundwaves, masked vocalist LowKey brings his distinctive flow to the music whilst producer Mayford Fox breathes a breath of life into the singles. Making waves in 2025, the group unveil their latest single ‘MOON’
Starting with a spoken word, the single sets the scene with a monologue. Penned about the true natures of depression and mental health, ‘MOON’ puts meaning before percussion in this heartfelt new anthem. Slowly expanding its creative palette, the track opens up as a defiant slice of electronica, embracing techno with an irresistible pop sentiment.
Speaking about the release, the group dive in, “I wrote ‘MOON’ about depression and the power that it can hold over somebody's life. Penning the track was somewhat of an autobiographical experience of the last ten years of my life. I don’t want to tell anyone how to live their life, but depression can affect people in so many ways: it might get better, it might get worse. You might get into the lowest place of your life, but you must remember that life is for living.”
