MOSAICS are back with the glowing new single ‘Tears On The Underground’. Laced in an optimistic shimmer, the band lean into their contemporary indie status, whilst still maintaining their 90s revival roots with this vibrant new single. Introducing soaring riffs, gleaming keys, spirited harmony and even a lively saxophone line, the band create a shining package of joy, despite the bittersweet lyricism.
MOSAICS share, “'Tears on the Underground' draws upon themes of mental wellbeing on public transport, or indeed any busy urban environment. This song was inspired by the awkward silence of passengers towards an individual visibly struggling on the tube. Is everyone too busy, or do they just not know what to say? Maybe this person wants to be left alone? Who knows. Everyone at one moment in their life at least has had their own struggles whilst on public transport.”
With multiple TV sync placements and features on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, BBC Introducing & Future Hits Radio, MOSAICS are making a splash with their floor-filling songwriting. Cementing their reputation the band also went on to be finalists of the Hot Vox: New Blood Isle of Wight Festival competition and support Reverend and the Makers on their sold-out UK tour.
