Rising Irish singer-songwriter Nathan O’Regan delivers a hard-hitting country-blues anthem with his new single 'Killer'.

Driven by twanging guitars, the wail of a Hammond organ, and O’Regan’s powerhouse vocal delivery, 'Killer' is a track that bursts out of the gate and doesn’t let up until the final note. O’Regan’s swaggering, soulful performance channels the spirit of Nashville’s finest, cementing his place as one of the most exciting voices to emerge from Ireland’s singer-songwriter scene.

Written alongside fellow Belfast-based musician and mentor Gareth Dunlop, 'Killer' was recorded at Attica Studios in Donegal, helmed by Villagers guitarist Tommy McLaughlin. The inspiration behind the song came from a discussion the two had about their life partners.

“Gareth and I have incredible, fierce women in our lives, and we were joking about how we both need that from time to time,” explains O’Regan. “It’s like dealing with an assassin—they kill all the worst parts of you and leave you with the bits they like the most.”
