New York's navel grazr unveil their vibrant debut EP 'Elegies'

Originally beginning life as bedroom songwriting side-project in 2019, vocalist/guitarist Anjali Nair saw the venture as a no-pressure creative refuge from her busy life as a guitarist across NYC in bands such as Dog In A Man Suit, Endearments, and Joyce. But as time went by, she quickly realised the potential behind what she had created, and so recruited producer/multi-instrumentalist Dominic Dellaquila to bring navel grazr to full fruition. Now with the pair working in total harmony, they deliver their vibrant debut EP 'Elegies', a collection that builds upon those initial ideals.

Much like what Nair had conceived all those years ago, 'Elegies' looks to adopt the same warm and sweeping textures of its original incarnation. Embracing this wonderfully warm and endearing atmosphere to float alongside her dazzling vocal style throughout, their new release is this wild and heady dive into the most illuminating textures yet, brimming with fresh and innovative spirit as often as possible.

The band may now look and sound a lot different from when it first began, but navel grazr are just scratching the surface of their captivating persona right now. With tracks like 'Sun Doesn't Rise' showcasing some beautifully compelling songwriting and production throughout, they have certainly set themselves up with a truly awe-inspiring release here.
