Features on the likes of BBC Radio 1xtra, BBC Radio Wales, Reprezent Radio and Unity Radio, and Spotify editorial spots on Fresh Finds UK & IE and New Music Friday UK have tagged Noah Bouchard as a worthy talent for his vulnerable rap delivery and jazz-influenced beats. He’s performed at BBC6 Music Fringe Festival, National Lottery’s # Revive Live Tour, Hub Festival and Focus Wales Festival, helping him to achieve his positive as one to watch for 2024.
Noah’s most recent single ‘Sometimes’ is another track released in the approach to his debut album ‘Love Of My Life’. Themes of loneliness and losing love are laced into his well-penned lyricism and performed over a soft piano melody and crunchy, lo-fi drums. There’s a captivating sadness in Noah’s voice that draws listeners in, as he seems on the edge of composure with each line.
Noah shares, “I wrote this song to encapsulate the feeling of loneliness, isolation and longing for human connection at a time when it felt like real life was far away. With the music video, we wanted to create a character stuck in the monotonous grind of life while struggling to fit in with the world around him. I've always loved Pixar films so making a music video in that kind of style has been a really fun process!”
Shot on iPhone, the music video is super creative and showcases the themes of the single brilliantly with subtle storytelling.
