Glasgow-born, London-based pop talent ODD LUKE announces his debut EP 'Surface Tension', set for release on the 6th December via Verdigris Records. To celebrate, ODD LUKE, aka Andy Black, releases his vibrant new single 'Found Life'.
A well-regarded session guitarist who’s supported some of the UK’s biggest stars, ODD LUKE marks Andy Black’s solo venture as a rising pop powerhouse. Produced alongside Magnus Skylstad (AURORA) and Stewart Brock, 'Found Life' is a shimmering slice of synth-driven electro-pop. Written about breaking free from societal expectations, it draws inspiration from icons like Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush, celebrating the joy of living life authentically.
ODD LUKE shares, “Found Life is about breaking free from old patterns, behaviours, and expectations, especially the ones we don’t even realise we’re holding onto. There’s a kind of clarity in surrender, in letting go of the pressure to fit into someone else’s version of success. The song reflects the surprising freedom that comes from choosing to live in the moment and do what you want, not what others want for you.”
