P*nut showcases his unique sound on his latest E.P "Wake Up"

John Harrison is the mastermind behind P*nut; and he definitely is a mastermind. A Multi-Platinum and Grammy award winning producer in his own right, he’s worked with the likes of Dido, Faithless, James Arthur, Wiley, and Emile Sande to name a few. He also worked closely alongside Amy Winehouse collaborating on "He Can Only Hold Her" from the huge record "Back to Black."

However, his latest E.P "Wake Up" showcases his own unique and signature sound. A Carrabian-tinged offering, the E.P is well flowing release that is sure to pick you up and engage you. The tracks feature the talented Franz Job and Quo, providing soulful and heartwarming vocal lines. The E.P is the perfect showcase of his unique sound.

Speaking about the lead track 'Never Stop', P*nut says: “Franz and me started never stop around 16 years ago in my London studio —- we only had one verse but it felt so honest we knew we’d come back one day to finish .. recently in Trinidad we finished the song together ——the song is about honesty and communication with loved ones.”

He’s also achieved accolades for his solo work too, with his second solo album ‘Sweet As’ being signed to Sony/BMG. The album received glowing reviews within the UK hip-hop world, and was supported by Tim Westwood on Radio 1. Alongside this, track ‘Wake Up (Murder He Wrote Remix)’ was played on 1st November on Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale's show and John is also set to be interviewed on 25th of November on Refuge Radio. With a growing fanbase and an infectious sound, we can see him taking this to the top.
