PEARL shares kaleidoscopic anthem ‘Orbit’

Bringing together her classical roots with infectious contemporary synth design, PEARL’s quick rise to one-to-watch status was originally given a catalyst on her debut EP ‘Where I Go’. Garnering Spotify editorial placements for further tastemaker credibility, PEARL’s refreshing atmospheres are still garnering interest.

Writing alongside Josh Oliver, PEARL’s latest single ‘Orbit’ reflects the artist’s ability to lean into her pop aesthetics. Still maintaining her alternative electronic design with subtle, kaleidoscopic synth arrangements, the artist crafts a flying and dynamic anthem experience. Where the verses lay in the sun, with warm lead vocals and gentle contented movement, the choruses are sent beyond the clouds with joyous performances and glittery counter melodies. Layering her vocals like a choir of angels descending on earth, PEARL’s masterful songwriting is put on show in all its brightness, reserving herself from the more experimental elements for a pure pop banger.

“They’re the centre of your universe, but they won’t let you in. Orbiting around their mental health, they keep you at arms length. You’re not going anywhere, you wait for them to let you into their world. Orbit’ is an upbeat and synthy declaration of love and steadfastness in the face of difficult times.”

Continuing on her the core of her musical style, PEARL adds, “the synths, drums and production are the architecture, and my voice, the organic sounds, and the lyrics are the green and natural elements that run through…I’ve always had an overactive imagination!”
