London-based singer-songwriter Pola makes a powerful return with 'The World Needs Love', the first glimpse into her upcoming album, set for release this October. Known for her genre-blending approach and deeply emotive storytelling, she delivers a track that fuses elements of pop and trip-hop, creating an atmosphere that is both soothing and thought-provoking throughout.

Drawing inspiration from the sonic landscapes of Massive Attack and Portishead, 'The World Needs Love' carries a hypnotic, laid-back groove while delivering a message that feels more urgent than ever. With a rich, cinematic soundscape underpinning her warm, expressive vocals, Pola encourages listeners to embrace empathy in a world that often feels chaotic.

Her career has been shaped by a wealth of musical experiences, from working with legendary producer Robin Millar (Sade, Everything But the Girl) to performing alongside The Police’s Andy Summers, who lends his signature guitar work to her forthcoming album.

Beyond the music, Pola takes a firm stand for artistic integrity. The accompanying music video for 'The World Needs Love' is a hand-drawn, meticulously illustrated piece, rejecting the rise of AI-generated art in favour of true human craftsmanship. “I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so that I can do music and writing,” she states, making it clear where she stands on the role of technology in creative spaces.

With this release marking the first step toward a much-anticipated LP, Pola continues to expand her reach and refine her artistry, serving up a poignant reminder of music’s ability to inspire, unite, and uplift.
