R.M. Hendrix breaks down barriers on his latest single 'Automation (Turn Yourself On)'

Over the last decade or so, Boston-based producer R.M. Hendrix has always been one to explore a more diverse field than most. His breadth of ambition has already stretched across a multitude of genres and aesthetics within his work, but his latest single 'Automation (Turn Yourself On)' could stand as one of his most boundary-pushing to date.

While his exploration of electronic textures has always been his calling card, for 'Automation (Turn Yourself On)' it feels like he is ready to develop something completely new and original. With a far dark and more pulsating energy to it, his newest outing makes for an incredibly eclectic and immersive listen, brimming with intense moments throughout.

His recent LP 'Blindur' certainly branched out into a varied direction at times, but 'Automation (Turn Yourself On)' feels like a entirely new and different beast altogether. Progressing into an almost uncontrolled entity by its end, R.M. Hendrix is showing his more enigmatic side and we are certainly ready to hear more of it.

Enjoy 'Automation (Turn Yourself On)' below.
