Vermont-based singer-songwriter Reid Parsons (they/she) offers one last preview before the release of 'Back to Back' this Friday, April 25th: the glowing new single “Lightbulb.” A romantic and quietly radiant track, “Lightbulb” celebrates simple, enduring love through intricate acoustic textures, a crisp hip-hop-inspired groove, and chamber pop flourishes.

“I wrote this song for someone who downplays their birthday,” Parsons says. “They light up every room but carry a layer of playful cynicism—it’s about honoring that mix of hope and hesitation.”

Described by Parsons as “a delicate, ornately decorated music box,” the track pairs lyrical intimacy with lush arrangements, rooted in the slow rhythms of their Vermont home. Following earlier singles “Get Out of Bed” and the title track, “Lightbulb” completes a stunning trilogy ahead of a summer tour across Vermont, including a hometown release show at Foam on June 12.
