Review: Pharmacists ‘Heart of the Nation’

“I wanted to take a huge chorus and put something I believe in behind it. I wanted to leave something of myself out there.”

Multifaceted musician with an intriguing musical history, Pharmacists, is a singer-songwriter based in the UK. The sophisticated sound of alternative indie-rock, over a smooth genre blend, captivated the artist’s passion for music and showcased his sound with depth and surprise, proving his creative skill.

Pharmacists, who draw inspiration from artists such as Weezer, Alvvays, and Tom Petty, blend these influences to create a sound that is all his own. He gives the music business a new voice with 'Heart of the Nation'. His vocals have tones of Wreckless Eric mingled with Kurt Vile in terms of singing style.

The indie rock tune changed its theme to make a political message about individuals dying for their families. The artist found it liberated and joyful to spend two days in the studio setting down all the aspects of the human narrative that had suddenly come to her. The original meaning of the song is still a relevant topic.

In conclusion, ‘Heart of the Nation’ is a testament to Pharmacists music catalogue.
