Punt Guns are bringing edgy apocalyptic vibes with their latest track ‘The Most Sacred Thing In The Universe’.
The duo Samura1 and Karisma formed Punt Guns in 2017 with the help of producers Andy Wright and Gavin Goldberg and have spent the last 2 years establishing their distinct style and sound which is easily identifiable in their latest track.
‘The Most Sacred Thing In The Universe’ uses gritty distortion and reverb to create a dark atmospheric soundscape. Eerie guitar licks, a thick bassline and electric overtones are layered with bold melodies and upbeat drums to create powerful energy in the track.
The track is as strong lyrically as it is musically, painting the story of a chase that is creatively told using a plethora of vocals techniques, including rap.
Overall the track lands us with the perfect level of hard rock. One that we can imagine will hit mosh pits hard as soon as we are allowed back at gigs.
