I spent so much energy trying to make this person happy, even when it hurt me—emotionally and physically. Writing this song was my way of reminding myself that I don’t owe anyone my peace and that I have the right to put myself first. The production mirrors that journey—the verses feel raw and vulnerable, but when the chorus hits, there’s this confident, almost defiant energy with an edgy groove.
