Ever since she first emerged almost a decade ago, Chester's Sam Lyon has been on a sensational rise. Turning out a wealth of warm and emotive releases as often as possible, she looks to continue that positive ascent once again as she delivers her wondrous new single 'Altered'.
Following on from the previously shared efforts 'The Calm Within The Storm (Demi's Song)' and 'Faster Than Our Footsteps' in previewing her next LP, this new offering makes for a beautifully sweet and tender listen. Capturing her sprawling presence within a broad and euphoric orchestral aesthetic to heighten her already impactful voice, 'Altered' stands as one of her most beautifully composed cuts to date.
While the last few years have certainly been a great time to find and discover new ideas, Sam Lyon always seems to cultivate something new and interesting in which to explore. Brimming with emotionally-charged passion at every turn, we are more than a little keen to hear what this new album has in store for us as well.
