Sloane Monroe is back as she releases her defiant new pop anthem ‘Clueless’. Since debuting in 2023 with her first teaser ‘Made for You’, Monroe re-emerges for 2025 with an exciting new era underway.
Penned about an attempt at romance on a London night out, ‘Clueless’ embodies dynamic pop hooks and quick refrains inside an alt-pop soundscape to deliver its euphoria. Brimming with sticky melodies, the single stands tall as a promising sign of exciting things to come as Monroe gets her artistic career underway.
Commenting on the release, Sloane dives in, “‘Clueless’ came from a quintessential late-night conversation with a friend. I was on the phone, laughing about how I’d met a guy on a night out who was completely oblivious to my interest. “Clueless baby” I said, and suddenly, a little lightbulb went off. The next morning, I revisited a project I had been working on for my friend Rebecca (Le Montais), isolating a sample and building the chorus. A few writing sessions later, ‘Clueless’ was born.”
