When she delivered her hotly-tipped debut EP 'Remnantal' last year, it kick started Sophia Stephens' place on the underground music scene, establishing her as one of the more exciting names to arrive that year. And with the buzz still building around her, she is now back for 2024 to unveil her sweeping new single 'Fervor'.
Much like what that initial EP taught us, her newest outing is a wonderfully broad and diverse listening experience. Channelling a wide range of genres and instrumentation that see her move effortlessly from a chamber-pop intention to thunderous guitar riffs in an instant, 'Fervor' marks one of her most impactful and captivating releases yet.
Things are still very much in their infancy for her right now, but 'Fervor' is another one of those strong reminders of her enigmatic direction so far. Brimming with this fresh and electrifying vocal presence throughout, she is definitely someone set for big things in the months ahead as well.
