Almost a decade on from the release of their debut album, Soul Deception are back in the limelight with their latest album “Good For The Soul”. The four-piece band, comprised of Samantha Pace, John Heller, Fred Mahoney and Jason Lusk, are known for their dynamic and unique sound; blending blues, rock and soul. With their new release, Soul Deception are ready to prove they are just as powerful as they were ten years ago.
Every track on “Good For The Soul” showcases a different element of the band's expertise. From powerful ballads to energetic anthems, the album has it all. Rippling guitar and groove-driven basslines tie the album together, each track creating a bluesy and vibrant atmosphere.
Speaking about their latest release, John Heller mentions, ““This second album captures the passion of all of us in each song, from the opener, ‘Suddenly’ to the ballad ‘Drifting Away’, to the soulful ‘Mystery’. In writing the songs, Samantha and I worked together to craft the end result as the album we always heard when performing live. This is a collection of songs that vary in style and flavor, allowing one to find something to connect to.”
