Since releasing their debut EP earlier in 2024, London’ own Sterling Press have been turning heads with their anthemic approach to indie rock ‘n’ roll. Creating a slick swagger, tied up in an emphatic groove, the outfit unveil their latest single ‘London Girls’.
The track sails across the airwaves with its raspy synth punches and clean production style. Building up a riotous, anthemic backbone, the single locks in with a refreshing sonic kick. The track forges together a blur-enthused nineties nostalgia with a contemporary twist, giving ‘London Girls’ a fresh, euphoric tinge.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the band explains, “Our best mate got a girlfriend from NYC and brought her to our student house in Liverpool. She was way cooler than us and we ended up writing a song about her… before The Dare got big I’d like to add”
