Brighton-based artist Tamara Kramar has just released her long-anticipated new EP, or mini-album as she refers to it, 'Make It Poetic' finally landing on the ears of fans and tastemakers who have joined the list of revered sources lauding her music during a 2024 single run.

The playful plucks and cheeky deliver of 'Mother Nature', the swaying emotions and personal reflection of 'Liquid Courage' and the grooving Bossa Nova and flute solos on 'Sunflower' have all had a distinct flavour. The teasers separated themselves from the crowd and each other, but each one had a sense of true Tamara, a light-hearted but brutally honest observation of where she's at in life.
'Made You Up' was the final of these enticing glimpses into the project and features soulful vocals and delicate piano lines, whilst acapella chords and percussion take their place among their instrumental counterparts. The track's constantly evolving spirit and movement is seen in 'Irony' also, the melancholic acoustic ballad dragging us through a breakup we're not entirely sure we're sad about.
'Breakfast Tea' and 'Tongue Tied' are the final two new tracks to talk about, though they're the first to appear on the project. Both lean into the new UK jazz sound elegantly, though they take slightly different approaches, the sloshy drums, twinkling melodies and focus on gorgeous vocalisation are all jaw-dropping parts of a fabulous masterpiece.
”Make It Poetic is my baby that I am incredibly proud of,” Tamara adds. “I made this mini-album with the intention to learn how to produce, find my sound and truly express myself. These seven songs cut deep into who I am as an artist, lyricist, instrumentalist and as a person. We are all just people doing this thing called living so why not make it poetic?”
Rising through the ranks of what seems like every possible media outlet across the UK and her home country Slovakia, Tamara Kramar bares host to a Forbes Slovakia's 30 under 30 award, Spotify’s EQUAL ambassadorship and acclaim from multiple publications. Garnering further recognition on her recent UK and European tour has played into her hand as Tamara’s fan base goes global, her second project an impressive successor to her first.
