Ever since he first emerged, Portland-based artist and producer The Numb Project has been seen as one of the more innovative names on the rise today. With a flair for fresh and adventurous aesthetics in almost everything he does, he now looks to continue that vibrant ascent on his new single 'Shakermaker'.
Fresh off the back of his highly-admired EP 'Abstract Facts' near the start of the year, his newest outing cements more of those broad and captivating textures once again. With its nods to both the ethereal and glitch-inspired areas of the scene, 'Shakermaker' makes for a beautifully warm and alluring listen to transports us even further into his dynamic world.
Despite its largely unconventional approach to production, 'Shakermaker' still manages to make for a wildly accessible listen. Blending a beautifully arranged array of instrumentation to create something truly mesmerising is never an easy feat, but The Numb Project seems to have it worked out to a tee here. It's fair to say, we are more than a little excited to see what else he has planned in the future as well.
