The first half of their release, ‘Speeding Bullets’ offers nothing in the way of a fully-fledged rock n roll enthused garage rock anthem. Its cutting approach to melody and groove gives the track a sincere swagger. Wearing its heart on its sleeve, the single proudly holds itself up as an emphatic piece of guitar music. ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ keeps up that pounding rhythm and takes it to the next level. Speaking about the creative processes behind the band, Evan Walsh (former member of The Strypes) explains, “The main aim was to capture the spirit of the music that always moved and excited me the most - raw fuzzy garage rock mixed with blues, soul, punk, pub rock all with the added menace of psychedelia for good measure!"
