When Sydney-based outfit The Wattles first emerged with their breakthrough debut single 'The Wrong Idea' in 2020, they were greeted as one of the more passionate names emerging that year. And with a flurry of highly-praised efforts under their belts in the years since, they now deliver their first piece of new material for 2023, the immersive new single 'Take It Or Leave It'.
Much like what we have come to expect for the four-piece in recent years, this new outing is another riveting and emotionally-charged slice of driven indie-rock that swells and swoops throughout. Adding an almost soul and jazz-inspired aesthetic to this new release, 'Take It Or Leave It' could end up going down as one of their most impactful tracks to date.
